    Hi, All,
Our organization provides free outgoing calls for patients. Is this standard of care, or something that can be counted as community benefit? Thanks for your insight!

Because it is a service that is only available to your patients, it doesn’t count. It isn’t something that is available to the entire community.

    Hello Margaret,
I think your first statement “calls for patients”…says it all. This is a service that you offer your Patients, not the general public, so I would not count it. It sounds like you have made this a “standard of care” at your organization, like many others have.
