Defaults and Data Entry

The Defaults and Data Entry course is designed for Administrators, Coordinators, and Finance Personnel responsible for capturing, tracking, and reporting community benefit needs, goals, statistics, and narratives. All attendees should have already subscribed to CBISA™.

  • CBISA™ Coordinators
  • CBISA™ Finance Personnel responsible for the IRS 990 Schedule H

Topics covered include:

  • Entering in Financial Defaults and understanding how they are used
  • Customizing the software defaults
  • Adding data records
  • Linking data records
  • Previewing/Printing/Exporting reports

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Learn where to enter Financial Defaults and how they are used
  • Learn how to add new records and link them together using the Relationship Manager
  • Understand the importance of correctly entering in the quantifiable community benefit program and statistical occurrence information into CBISA™

Role of the Reporter

A special training session is provided for Reporters and the Coordinators responsible for importing the pending data records. The Reporters training will be 90 minutes in length and will provide basic instruction on accessing, navigating, and data entry.

  • CBISA™ Coordinators or Administrators responsible for training/working with Reporters

  • Updating the User Account
  • Navigating through CBISA™ modules
  • Adding Programs and Occurrences
  • Previewing/Printing Reports

  • Understand the important role of the reporter as a key part of the community benefit initiative
  • Learn how to add new data records
  • Understand the difference between active (approved) and pending records in CBISA™
  • Learn how to successfully import pending data records
